SheBUILDS is a two-day, global hackathon hosted by Girl Who Code at Berkeley for high school and college female-identifying or non-binary students. As a beginner-friendly hackathon, we aim to equip our participants with 21st-century skills in order to help close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.

High school and college non-binary/female-identifying students all around the world are welcomed to participate in the hackathon. You do not have to be a UC Berkeley student to participate. If you are an international student, we may not be able to ship you swag, but you will receive the other awards.
